Morrow Coffee, specialty café
Morrow Coffee is a concept website we designed and built for a fictional specialty café. A 3D ceramic cup with animated latte art, steam and orbiting beans anchors the page, and a drink builder re-pours an illustrated cup as you pick milk, size and syrup across five drinks. There is no product photography anywhere on the site.
The brief
Café sites rarely do more than list opening hours. The brief was a site that makes you want the coffee and gets you ordering ahead, without a single product photo.
What we built
A ceramic cup with animated latte art, steam and orbiting beans; a drink builder whose illustrated cup re-pours as you choose; bean-origin cards; and a tap-to-stamp loyalty card.

How it was made.
A light 3D scene, deliberately
Almost every WebGL site is dark, because dark hides the seams. Morrow is warm and bright, which meant the cup needed a believable ceramic response and the latte art had to survive on a near-white ground. The surface is a hand-written shader rather than a PBR material, which is cheaper and easier to art-direct toward the palette.
The builder is the product page
Rather than a menu plus a separate order form, the drink builder is both. Each choice re-pours the illustrated cup immediately, so the feedback loop is the product photograph. The underlying form is a standard progressively-enhanced control, so it submits with JavaScript disabled.
Loyalty without an app
The tap-to-stamp card is local state on the device, not an account. It demonstrates the pattern without asking a concept site's visitors to sign up for anything, and it is a reminder that a lot of what gets specified as an app is a page.
More concept builds
- Ember & Ash, wood-fire restaurantA restaurant website with no photography at all: a GPU ember field, a tabbed menu and a table-booking flow, every visual drawn in code.
- Torque & Co., independent garageA garage website built around trust: an exploded brake assembly you scroll apart, up-front pricing and a plain-English symptom checker.
