GTM & Lead Generation

Outbound that fills a pipeline instead of a spam folder

We build B2B outbound systems end to end: ICP definition, verified contact lists, dedicated sending domains with SPF, DKIM and DMARC, warmed mailboxes, sequenced email and LinkedIn campaigns, and reply routing into your CRM. Everything runs in infrastructure you own, and a build typically goes live in three to four weeks.

What's included in a Cygni outbound build?

ICP research, verified contact data and cold email infrastructure that actually lands, built in your own domains and accounts, then handed over with the playbook. We build the engine; you keep it running.

How it runs, week by week.

  1. Week 1

    1. ICP & Offer

Define the segment, tier the accounts and pressure-test the offer before a single email goes out.

  2. Week 2

    2. Data & Infrastructure

Build the verified list, provision domains and mailboxes, and start the warm-up clock.

  3. Week 3

    3. Copy & Sequences

Write and load the sequences, wire reply routing, and launch to a small first cohort.

  4. Week 4

    4. Scale & Tune

Widen volume only as far as deliverability holds, and iterate on the angles that book meetings.

3FAQ

GTM & Lead Generation, answered.

Three layers: strategy (ICP, account tiering, offer and messaging), infrastructure (dedicated domains, mailboxes, authentication and warm-up), and execution (list building, sequences, reply routing and reporting). Most agencies sell one layer and assume you have the other two. Skipping any of them is why outbound programmes stall in month two.

Because sending reputation is an asset, and it should accrue to you. Domains, mailboxes and sequences are provisioned under your organisation, so if we stop working together you keep the warmed infrastructure, the data and the playbook. Agencies that send from their own domains are renting you a result you can never take with you.

Separate sending domains from your primary one, correct SPF, DKIM and DMARC, a genuine warm-up period before volume, strict per-mailbox sending limits, and list verification so bounces stay low. Then we monitor placement continuously and throttle back the moment it degrades. Volume follows deliverability, never the other way round.

Authentication and a clean complaint record. Google's sender guidelines require SPF, DKIM and DMARC above 5,000 messages a day to Gmail, one-click unsubscribe on bulk mail, and a Postmaster Tools spam rate under 0.30%, and its own advice is to stay under 0.10%. Microsoft has rejected unauthenticated bulk mail to Outlook.com outright since May 2025 rather than filing it in junk.

It follows your target volume rather than a package. We hold each mailbox to roughly 20–30 sends a day once warmed, and run two or three mailboxes per sending domain. Reaching a thousand new contacts a week therefore takes something like ten mailboxes across four domains. If the maths demands far more than that, the list is usually the problem, not the capacity.

Because every provider throttles a new sending identity on purpose. Microsoft now gives a brand-new Exchange Online tenant 10% of its normal external-recipient quota for the first 31 days and 25% until day 60, and a cold domain is treated with the same suspicion. We register, authenticate and warm the domains while the list and copy are built, so volume starts from a domain with history.

For research and variants, not for the sentence that does the work. It drafts angles from public signals (funding, hiring, job specs, tech stack) and a human writes and edits what actually sends. Near-identical generated mail at volume is exactly the pattern that engagement-based filtering and experienced buyers both punish.

We don't quote a number before seeing your offer, segment and data, and you should be sceptical of anyone who does, because reply rates vary enormously by market. What we commit to is the leading indicators we control: inbox placement, contact accuracy and sequence volume, reported weekly. If those hold and meetings don't follow, the offer is the problem and we'll say so.

The build is one-off: strategy, infrastructure, data and the first live campaigns, handed over documented. Most clients then move to a monthly retainer for list refreshes, new sequences and deliverability management, because outbound decays without upkeep. Running it in-house afterwards is a supported outcome, since the infrastructure is already yours.

Yes, as a second touch on the same sequenced list rather than a separate campaign. Connection requests and follow-ups are paced to stay inside platform limits, and replies land in the same routing as email so your team works one inbox instead of three.

B2B outreach is generally permitted in both regimes when it is relevant to the recipient's role, identifies you clearly and offers an easy opt-out. GDPR leans on legitimate interest, CAN-SPAM on disclosure and unsubscribe. Rules differ by country, so we scope the geography with you up front. We are not lawyers and won't pretend otherwise.
